Registration for the 2018-2019 School Year

Parmalee Elementary School uses an online registration process. All students - returning and newly enrolled - must complete the following registration steps annually between August 1st and the first day of school.

  • Update your JeffCo Connect account - required. JeffCo Connect is an electronic gateway to many online services including JeffCo student fee and meal payment. It also serves as our school's primary resource for student/family emergency contact information. Every family is required to have an active and updated JeffCo Connect account.

  • Code of Conduct Acknowledgement - required. Each year, after July 1st, Jeffco Public Schools requires parents/guardians of Jeffco students to provide a digital signature for the Student & Family Handbook; more commonly known as the Code of Conduct. This digital signature acknowledges the families' responsibility to "read the Code of Conduct, become familiar with, and abide by, its contents and requirements." At Parmalee, students without this signature will not be allowed to use digital technology (Chromebooks, computers, etc.) at school except when necessary for assessments.   • Free or Reduced Lunch - if applicable. Complete the online Free and Reduced Lunch Application. A new application is required each year, even if your student participated in the program the year before. The online application is updated on July 1st for each new school year. Families are encouraged to submit their application electronically, however, a paper copy may be acquired at the school. When completing the application, please choose to give Parmalee access to the results to insure all free and reduced privileges are appropriately provided.   • Parmalee Climbing Wall Consent Form - required. Please review and complete the Climbing Wall Consent Form to allow your student to participate in climbing wall activities at Parmalee. Students without documented consent will not be allowed access to the climbing wall.

  • Birthday Book Club - optional. The Parmalee Library Birthday Book Club celebrates your child's birthday in a special way while helping our library collection grow. Participation in the program is voluntary and involves a $16 donation per book, per child. If your student wishes to participate in our Birthday Book Club, please print out the Birthday Book Club Form complete and return to the school's front office once school begins. Payment may be made electronically when submitting your student's fees through JeffCo Connect. There will be another chance to enroll in this program after school has started in August.

  • Jefferson County Public Library Card - encouraged. Parmalee encourages all students to have their own public library card. Students utilize public library databases for research at school, and they need their library card numbers to gain access. It is helpful for our teacher librarian to have access to this number.
