About - Parmalee Elementary School

Welcome to Parmalee Elementary School, a K-5 neighborhood school in Indian Hills, CO, considered "hidden gem" within Jeffco Public Schools. Serving approximately 280 students, including those in the Evergreen and Conifer Gifted and Talented Program, Parmalee has earned multiple accolades, including the John Irwin School of Excellence and the Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award.

Recently ranked 18th in Colorado (4th in Jeffco) by US News & World Report, Parmalee boasts a collaborative staff of teachers, support staff, and parents dedicated to providing a world-class education focused on academic and social-emotional growth.

Students benefit from numerous enrichment and after-school programs, such as 100 Mile Club, Green Team, Robotics and Coding, and Instrumental Music.

Additionally, our recent School Performance Framework (SPF), the state’s report card for each school, showed that Parmalee had earned 92.5% out of 100 possible points. It is not only known for academic excellence but also for promoting a welcoming, caring and respectful environment.
