Meet the Principal

I'm Molly Bachrodt, and I'm thrilled and humbled to have been selected as Parmalee Elementary's new principal. This is my 12th year at Parmalee, though I’ve worked in Jeffco Public Schools for over 22 years. I’ve worked in schools across the mountain and south areas, and I truly believe that Parmalee is the best elementary school and the best workplace in Jeffco! 

My husband and I moved to Evergreen from Chicago shortly after we married. We raised four children here - all educated in Jeffco Schools - and until now, they’ve all settled in Colorado (my daughter and son-in-law are moving to NYC soon!) I’ve always appreciated living in the community in which I serve, as it offers so many opportunities to interact with our students and families outside of the school setting. Please don’t be shy if you run into me while hiking or grocery shopping - I really do like those interactions!

Following in the footsteps of Ms. Mielke, who built such a strong foundation of excellence here, is a daunting task, but I can assure you that I will always put students first in our decision-making and planning. We will continue to challenge students academically while ensuring their social-emotional learning is supported as well. We are consistently ranked among the top elementary schools in Jeffco and Colorado by living our Mission: At Parmalee Elementary, students come first. Collaboratively, we build a strong foundation that ensures a lifelong love of learning and creates limitless opportunities for kids.

I look forward to welcoming back Parmalee students and families and meeting the newest members of the Parmalee community.
